It is the season for butterflies and caterpillars here in Washington. I carry your story with me and I am content. Happy Spring, Yang Laoshi. Xie xie

Dear Yang Laoshi, please point me in the right direction for the video clip you made about different word endings or additives for essence. I’d very much like to create more flash cards. I’ve looked, but can’t find it. Thank you, precious Laoshi from heaven.

May I request a video of you writing the characters to this story? *nudge nudge* *wink wink* .. the small facts you add to your videos about your culture and tradition are valuable as diamonds to me. I treasure your efforts. xie xie Yang Laoshi

There is just no way this could be more useful. There seem to be many good resources for chinese online – like zhongwen, or yellowbridge – but I am so slow at using them to learn. Stories with translation, like this, are just so much better and faster. Thank you Yanghaiying!
